Trinity Health Names Corinne R. Francis, MA. MDiv. D. HCML (Cand) as Executive Vice President and Chief Mission Integration Officer

LIVONIA, MICH. (Oct. 23, 2023) – Trinity Health welcomes to its executive leadership team Corinne R. Francis, MA. MDiv. D. HCML (Cand) as executive vice president and chief mission integration officer. Effective Oct. 23, Francis will oversee the Mission Integration Team & strategic integration of Trinity Health's mission, Vision, Core Values and Catholic identity throughout the organization.
A former system vice president of mission integration at CommonSpirit Health, Francis has over 22 years of progressive experience in various Mission roles. Before the merger of Dignity Health and Catholic Health Initiatives, Francis served as senior vice president, mission integration for Dignity Health, system VP for mission integration and community benefit at CHRISTUS Health. Notably, she is the first Black woman to lead mission for a national Catholic health system.

Francis was one of Modern Healthcare’s Up and Comer Award winners in 2006. She served as a Board Member of the Catholic Health Association from 2007 to 2013, served on the Governance Committee and chaired the Diversity and Health Disparities Committee. She has conducted health care research on community health partnerships and was a founding member of Medical Professionals On A Mission, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) created in 2018 to bring medical mission response to disasters in the Caribbean.
Francis began her advanced education with Dominica/Cambridge University, London England, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Sociology from Carlow University (Summa Cum Laude and a Carolow College Laureate), a Master of Divinity from Catholic Theological Union as a Cardinal Bernardin Scholar, a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration with a concentration and certificate in Health Administration from University of Chicago as an Edith Abbot Scholar and is currently a Doctoral candidate with Loyola University Chicago.
