LIVONIA, MICH. (January 30, 2023) — Trinity Health was recently recognized as one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity” by Newsweek, reflecting the organization’s steadfast dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Companies across the U.S. were evaluated on corporate culture, working environment and other related subjects using publicly available data, interviews with Human Resources professionals, and an anonymous survey.

Trinity Health is fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with initiatives ranging from colleague training and education, health equity programs focused on at-risk populations, supplier diversity analysis, advocacy efforts, colleague recruitment and development practices, and more.

LaRonda Chastang, senior vice president of diversity, equity, and inclusion for Trinity Health, stated, “Strengthening and celebrating diversity is key to Trinity Health’s Mission. Colleagues and providers across our organization work tirelessly each day to promote equity and inclusion, creating a more positive workplace and a better experience for our patients. We are thrilled to see our work in this area recognized.”

Chastang’s thoughts were echoed by Ed Hodge, executive vice president and chief human resources officer, who said, “Our work in diversity, equity, and inclusion brings Trinity Health’s values to life. Colleagues and providers, including those considering joining our team, look for workplaces that prioritize these areas. Amid a health care workforce shortage, this work is especially important, and we’re proud to be a diversity leader.”
