Trinity Health Board of Directors Welcomes Newest Member, Deborah Hayes

LIVONIA, MICH. (June 1, 2024) – Trinity Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah M. Hayes, RN, MS, MSN, MBI, MBA, NEA-BC as a member of the Trinity Health Board of Directors, effective June 1.

Hayes is a CEO with more than 30 years of progressive, transformational leadership in a highly matrixed health system. Starting her career as a critical care nurse, Hayes has held roles at all levels, including the C-suite roles of Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Hospital Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Currently, Hayes is the president and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network, a 134-year-old, integrated health care delivery system serving communities across Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

In addition, Hayes has extensive board experience, including current chair appointments on the American Heart Association board and the Life Center Organ Procurement Organization.

Hayes earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Cincinnati. She then received her diploma in nursing from the Christ School of Nursing followed by a bachelor’s in nursing from Xavier University. She also holds a combined master’s in nursing and business informatics from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
