Trinity Health’s Tammy Lundstrom, M.D., J.D. Named to Modern Healthcare’s Top Women Leaders List

Livonia, Mich. (February 22, 2022) – Trinity Health is proud to announce its chief medical officer Tammy Lundstrom, M.D., J.D., was recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of its 2022 Top Women Leaders.
This annual recognition honors Tammy alongside the industry’s most impactful women who are guiding health care delivery improvement across the country. Since joining Trinity Health in 2018, Tammy has been influential in helping the health system achieve ambitious financial, operational, and clinical outcomes in spite of the pandemic.
With an eye on equity, Tammy delivers invaluable insight to the nearly 26,000 physicians and clinicians caring for diverse communities across Trinity Health’s national footprint. Tammy has also led the system’s COVID-19 pandemic response, providing steady leadership during one of the most challenging times in health care. Her expertise as an infectious disease physician has allowed her to serve as a leading voice at town halls that reach Trinity Health’s 115,000 colleagues and thousands of community members, educating and dismantling misconceptions around the novel coronavirus pandemic.

This year’s Top Women Leaders honorees are a diverse group of candidates that were chosen among hundreds of applicants.
